Save 15,000 Wen before chasing a horse

Getting a Slayers 2 horse takes five steps. Save 15,000 Wen, wait for the wild-horse alert, travel toward Bamboo Grove or Windy Peak, press T beside the horse, and complete the ring minigame to 100%. Pay the purchase prompt, then equip the Legendary Horse item from inventory on your hotbar.

Do not start with an empty wallet. Finishing the minigame does not reserve the mount. If you cannot pay when the prompt appears, the horse remains available to another player.

The route does not require a certain class or Breathing Style. Slayer and Demon choices affect combat, while the horse is simply a travel item. You only need to find the active spawn, complete the timing challenge, and have the full Wen payment ready.

Build the purchase fund first

Quest rewards are the dependable way to earn 15,000 Wen. Do not race to a spawn before reaching that balance. A failed purchase message can show the missing amount, but it will not hold the horse while you go earn it.

Keep the mount money separate from optional spending. Horses become valuable once normal progression sends you between villages, trainers, bosses, and raids. If a missing weapon is making every quest slow, buy the combat upgrade first and rebuild the horse fund with faster clears.

A simple budget works well:

  1. Pay required quest and combat-access costs.
  2. Keep enough recovery money to continue farming.
  3. Reserve 15,000 Wen for the horse.
  4. Spend above that line only after buying the mount.

Watch Bamboo Grove and Windy Peak

Wild horses rotate through outdoor spawn points instead of standing at a permanent stable. Bamboo Grove and Windy Peak are the main regions to watch. A server-wide message announces that one of Farmer MoldySugar’s horses has escaped. Every player receives it, so the alert begins a race.

The fastest documented route starts with fast travel to Bamboo Grove Shrine, then glides toward the horse icon around Windy Peak. Beginning from higher ground is quicker than running up from the village floor.

While waiting, stay close to a travel point, keep the inventory clear enough to use quickly, and restore enough health for several failed timing attempts. When the alert appears, leave low-value combat behind and move at once.

The Horse Spawn Locator is optional

The Horse Spawn Locator gamepass currently costs 120 Robux. It tracks the horse across the map, removing most of the manual search. It does not award a mount, reduce the 15,000-Wen cost, skip the taming challenge, or prevent another player from reaching the spawn first.

Only consider it when finding the spawn is the recurring problem. The entire horse route works without Robux.

Complete the taming minigame

Walk next to the wild horse and press T. Your character mounts it and the timing challenge starts. Each prompt has an inner circle and a shrinking outer ring. Click once when the outer ring meets the inner target.

Wait for alignment instead of clicking as soon as the prompt appears. Every success increases the meter. Continue until it reaches 100%. A mistimed input throws you off and removes 10 HP.

There is no fixed retry limit. If several misses leave you low on health, heal or wait before climbing on again. Staying alive is more important than rushing another attempt and losing the whole trip to one avoidable failure.

Use the same timing routine every attempt

  1. Center the camera before pressing T.
  2. Keep the cursor close to the prompt area.
  3. Follow the ring edge rather than staring at the percentage.
  4. Click once at alignment and avoid double-clicking.
  5. Refocus before the next circle appears.

Pay, then check inventory

Reaching 100% opens a prompt to buy the Horse for 15,000 Wen. Confirm it. The minigame meter does not prove ownership. The purchase is complete when the Legendary Horse item appears in inventory.

Open inventory, put Horse on the hotbar, and select that slot to mount. If the item is missing, read the last system message. Not enough wen means you tamed the horse but did not buy it.

Do not leave the area until the inventory check passes. That saves you from traveling across the map before discovering there is no mount to summon.

Use the mount for long ground travel

The horse is the fastest normal way to cross Ouwland on the ground. Ride between quest hubs, Breathing trainers, boss routes, and farming areas. Dismount before entering tight combat zones so mount controls do not disrupt blocking or positioning.

Equipment can affect mount speed. If another player seems faster, compare gear on the same stretch of road rather than assuming each horse rolls a hidden speed value.

The mount saves travel time but does not replace movement upgrades. Keep investing in Wall Climb and Double Jump because trainers and obstacle routes still require vertical movement after you reach the area.

Avoid these common failures

The most expensive mistake is beginning before saving 15,000 Wen. Players also waste time looking for a fixed stable instead of following the live alert, or arrive with too little health to survive repeated 10-HP penalties.

Do not buy the locator expecting it to skip the challenge or price. After a successful tame, check inventory instead of walking away at 100%. Finally, keep the reserved horse money out of clan rerolls and other optional purchases while waiting for the next spawn.
