Save Ore until you know what you want

Slayers 2 ores are limited progression resources used by systems such as clan spins. Saving them is the smart early choice. An Uncommon or Rare clan can handle bandits, Zuko, and the bear route, while repeated spins can consume the full balance without making the character stronger.

Only spend Ore when you have a specific target, have read the current cost, and can continue playing if every roll misses. The Customize button being available is not a reason to turn every early reward into another spin.

Updated September 20, 2026. Ore rewards, exchange rates, shops, and reroll costs can change. Check the current in-game panel before spending. Do not assume a permanent mining node or fixed enemy drop that the game does not show.

Clan spins are the main early use

Ore can buy clan spins instead of Robux. Clans add character bonuses and can open clan-specific skill branches, but progression never requires the highest rarity.

Clan rarityListed roll chance
Common60%
Uncommon23%
Rare12%
Legendary4%
Mythic0.9%
Supreme0.1%

Those odds make uncontrolled rolling costly. Supreme sits at one tenth of one percent, and Mythic remains below one percent. Ore buys another chance at a planned build, not a guarantee that the next result will improve the current clan.

Open Customize and read the Ore price for one spin before starting. The launch progression does not establish one exchange rate that will remain fixed forever, so an old screenshot can give the wrong cost after an update.

Keep each resource tied to its own job

Slayers 2 separates resources by purpose. Cash or Wen pays for normal equipment and access. Skill points unlock movement, character, clan, weapon, or Breathing nodes. Upgrade materials improve the corresponding gear. Ore pays for limited systems such as spins.

ResourceMain decision
OreWhether a targeted reroll is worth limited supply
Cash or WenWhich immediate purchase speeds progression
Skill pointsWhich permanent branch supports the active build
Upgrade materialsWhether the item will stay in use long enough
Event rewardsWhether a limited reward beats the normal route

A clan roll cannot buy the 500-Cash Regular Katana, unlock Wall Climb, or raise Breathing mastery. Keep separate budgets and spend the one that actually addresses the current obstacle.

Progress far enough to understand the build

Use the opening route to learn what your character is missing:

  1. Take Krue’s bandit quest at spawn.
  2. Reach level 7 and add the Zuko boss loop.
  3. Buy the Regular Katana from Raze for 500 Cash.
  4. Move to Tom’s bear quest at level 13.
  5. Add Mother Bear at level 18.
  6. Reach level 25 before committing to a Breathing Style direction.

By then, you have tested movement, blocking, stamina, and preferred attack range. It becomes much easier to judge whether a clan should add survival, mobility, damage, or a specialized interaction.

Keep any Common, Uncommon, or Rare clan that supports the route. Levels and cash earned in the world do more for a new account than standing in Customize chasing a 0.1% outcome.

Check whether an activity actually awards Ore

There is no single permanent ore mine or universal enemy drop in the launch route. Use the current interface to check each opportunity:

  1. Read the listed reward before accepting a long quest detour.
  2. Open a boss or raid reward panel before repeating the encounter.
  3. Check event shops for the exact currency name and exchange rate.
  4. Confirm whether a code, chest, or milestone gives Ore rather than Cash.
  5. Complete one run and make sure the resource enters the correct balance.

If Ore is absent from the reward panel, do not build a farm around that activity. Run it for the rewards it actually displays and look for Ore in current quests, events, codes, chests, and shops.

Clear speed matters too. A difficult boss can give fewer rewards per hour than easy repeatable content when deaths and return travel consume most of the session.

Use three gates before every spin

Name the target

Write down the clan or specific interaction you need. “Anything rarer” is too vague because a rarer passive can fit the build worse than the clan you already have.

Set the limit

Divide the current balance into a spin budget and a reserve. Stop when the planned number is gone, even if the final result makes you feel close. Rolls are independent. A string of Common clans does not make a Supreme result due.

Test what you rolled

Take the result through the same enemy group or boss attempt used by the previous clan. Compare clear time, health left, stamina use, and any clan-specific skill. Keep it when it improves the activity you targeted.

Slayer spending priorities

Slayers eventually pay for Breathing trainers, katanas, movement, and mastery. A clan should complement that plan. Styles that depend on quick entry can gain more from mobility or stamina than from conditional damage. Long animations can make survival support more valuable than a small offensive increase.

Wait until the Breathing Style and its first nodes are usable before chasing a perfect pairing. An unfinished style gives you no fair way to judge the clan synergy.

Demon spending priorities

Demons should first complete a stable faction route, practice their Blood Demon Art, and decide whether the character is aimed at quests, bosses, or PvP. Area damage and movement help farming. Sustained pressure and safe recovery matter against bosses. Flexible spacing and pressure matter in duels.

A reroll makes sense when it supports that declared role. It is wasteful when it consumes resources needed for normal progression or when you have not tested the current art and combat loop against ordinary enemies.

Mistakes that empty an Ore balance

Do not keep rolling simply because the strongest tiers have low odds. Avoid replacing a functional clan before reaching the content where its bonuses matter. Ore, Cash, and upgrade items are not interchangeable, so do not spend one while expecting it to fix another system.

Check the reward panel before farming, and read the current price after every major update. Most importantly, decide the stopping point before the first roll. A session with no limit can consume the whole balance while leaving the account on a worse clan.

When the reroll is worth the risk

Roll when the current clan conflicts with a clear long-term build, the desired result has a known job, and the account can keep progressing after a miss. Keep what you have when it supplies useful stats, the next unlock matters more, or rarity is the only reason you want to change.

Sometimes the best Ore decision is to do nothing. A saved balance preserves your choices when a new event, clan interaction, or genuine build target arrives.

FAQ

What are Slayers 2 ores used for?

The confirmed early use is purchasing clan spins as an alternative to Robux; always check the current menu for other live uses.

Where do I get Ore?

Check current quest, boss, raid, event, code, chest, and shop reward panels. Do not assume a fixed mine or drop when the UI does not name Ore.

Should I spend Ore on clan spins immediately?

No. Keep a functional early clan, progress through the opening route, and roll only after choosing a specific build goal.

What are the odds of a Supreme clan?

The listed launch rate is 0.1%, so spins should be treated as independent chances rather than guaranteed progress toward Supreme.

How much Ore should I save?

Keep enough to preserve future choices after your planned roll session; set a spin limit from the live cost before opening Customize.
