Start the Spider Lily search at night

The Spider Lily route runs west through the grass, river, and mountain terrain around Bamboo Grove Sanctuary. Muzan’s Demon quest needs nine Spider Lilies, and one sweep will not always provide all of them. Check the five points below, return to your saved crystal if they are empty, then try another server when needed.

Search at night. Spider Lilies use the same nighttime window as Muzan’s quest, so knowing the route will not make a daytime run useful. Accept the flower task first so every pickup advances the objective.

Run the points in this order:

  1. Leave the main town toward the Bear area.
  2. Continue past the Bear area instead of entering it.
  3. Turn north and follow the terrain toward the river.
  4. Check the riverbank and the small island.
  5. Continue west through the lower grassland.
  6. Finish at the large mountain and climb to the tree-and-plant search point.

These are possible spawns, not nine fixed flowers in a line. Another player can clear a point before you arrive, and a server does not have to fill every point. Repeat the compact loop when one run comes up short.

Prepare before leaving Muzan’s quest area

Spider Lilies are quest items for Demon progression. They are not a Breathing Style collectible, and gathering them early does not replace the reputation requirement, Muzan encounter, Biwa Bell, or the other transformation tasks.

Before running the route, confirm that Muzan has assigned the objective for nine Spider Lilies. Keep enough inventory space for quest pickups, and avoid starting a long combat quest at the same time. The flower circuit is easiest when you can ignore ordinary enemies and keep moving.

Use the Book of Guidance map to face toward Bamboo Grove. The flowers are too small for the broad map to guide each pickup, so navigate by the Bear area, river, island, recognizable tree, and final mountain.

Set your spawn at the crystal near the river route when you reach it. This shortens the recovery after a death and gives you a consistent reset point for another sweep. It also makes it easier to compare the same landmarks after joining a fresh server.

Follow the five-point route

1. Search the riverbank

From the main town, travel west toward the Bear area. Do not stop to grind the bears. Move past that section and continue north beyond the nearby boss terrain until the river comes into view.

Search the grassy edge on the side of the river you approach first. The flower can sit close enough to the water that it blends into the bank while you are sprinting. Slow down, turn your camera toward the ground, and check both the open grass and the transition between grass and water.

2. Cross to the small island

Cross the river to the little island. This is a separate spawn check, so do not assume an empty bank means the whole river section is clear. Walk around the island rather than cutting straight through its center, since a flower near the edge can be hidden by your camera angle.

Use the nearby crystal to set your spawn before continuing. The interaction takes only a moment and saves a long return trip if an enemy or fall interrupts the run.

3. Check the right side after the tree

Continue west from the river. A recognizable tree marks the transition into the next search area. Move or jump past it, descend into the lower ground, and look to the right side of the route.

Do not follow the road so closely that you ignore the grass. This pickup is found by scanning the side terrain, not by waiting for a quest marker. Make a short arc through the right-hand patch, then return to the route so you do not lose your westward direction.

4. Sweep the left side of the same area

The lower section has another possible flower on the left. Check it separately after clearing the right side. Using the tree behind you as a reference prevents the two searches from turning into one unfocused circle.

Two possible pickups sit in this small area, so inspect both without doubling back to the river. If neither side has a flower, move on instead of waiting for one to appear.

5. Climb the large mountain

Keep heading west until the large mountain blocks the direct route. Scale it and search near the point marked by a tree and a plant. This is the final check in the circuit.

Approach carefully near steep ground. Falling and reclimbing costs more time than slowing down for the last few jumps. Once you reach the correct level, scan between the vegetation instead of only checking the peak.

After the mountain check, count your flowers. If you still need more, return to the river crystal or join another server and repeat the same five points.

Sweep the rest of Bamboo Grove Sanctuary

Spider Lilies can also appear in the grass around Bamboo Grove Sanctuary. When the five-point sweep comes up short, widen the search to the rest of the sanctuary.

Use a grid-like pattern instead of running randomly. Pick one boundary, follow it through the grass, turn at the end, and return along the next strip. Rotate the camera toward the ground as you move. Check behind vegetation and beside changes in elevation, where a small pickup is easiest to overlook.

Keep moving. Several active Demon players can clear the server before you arrive, and waiting beside an empty point rarely helps. Finish one full sweep, then change servers if needed.

Refresh empty spawns without losing the route

If every point is empty, join a different server and run the same path again. Pickups are shared in the live world. Following the same order also makes it easier to notice a missed landmark.

Before switching servers, remember where the cycle ended and confirm your current flower count. After loading into the next server:

  1. Wait for the world and quest tracker to load.
  2. Confirm it is still nighttime before traveling far.
  3. Reorient toward Bamboo Grove and the Bear area.
  4. Check the riverbank, island, paired grass spots, and mountain in order.
  5. Stop as soon as the quest reaches nine flowers.

Avoid fighting other players over a pickup. Moving to another server is faster and keeps the route predictable. If you repeatedly return to the same crowded instance, leave and choose another available server rather than lingering at the flower points.

Return to Muzan after the ninth flower

Once the counter reaches nine, stop searching and continue Muzan’s transformation questline. The flowers are one requirement, not the entire Demon conversion. Keep the nine quest items until the objective updates, then follow Muzan’s remaining instructions.

If the quest does not recognize a pickup, check the displayed count before collecting more. Confirm that you accepted the Spider Lily objective from Muzan and that the item was not gathered before the task became active. Rejoining can refresh the interface, but use the quest counter as the final proof that a flower counted.

Qualify for Muzan, accept the task, run the Bamboo Grove circuit at night, and change servers when the route is empty. Return as soon as the counter reaches nine. There is no reason to keep searching once the quest is ready to advance.

FAQ

How many Spider Lilies do I need in Slayers 2?

Muzan’s Demon quest asks for nine Spider Lilies. Watch the active quest counter and stop the route when it reaches nine.

Where do Spider Lilies spawn in Slayers 2?

Search the grass around Bamboo Grove Sanctuary, especially the riverbank, small river island, two lower grass patches west of the river, and the large mountain near a tree and plant.

Do Spider Lilies spawn during the day?

Run the route at night. The flower search belongs to Muzan’s nighttime Demon progression and uses the night window.

Why are all the Spider Lily locations empty?

Another player may have collected the available flowers, or that server may not have a flower at every possible point. Finish the circuit, join a different server, and repeat the same checks.

Should I collect Spider Lilies before finding Muzan?

Complete the reputation gate, find Muzan, and accept his Spider Lily objective first. That gives you a visible counter and prevents confusion about whether an earlier pickup advanced the Demon quest.
